Large box of diaries written by Mabel Bartlett Stokes between 1908 and 1970. The forty-eight diaries are various colors, shapes and sizes. Diaries provide a brief account of daily activities in the author's life.
Also found in box with diaries were miscellaneous papers including a postcard, empty envelope, advertising card and news clippings.
Additionally, a letter from the author's daughter provides biographical information as well as two reproduction photographs.
An inventory of the diaries on lined paper is in the box.
