Title Cemeteries
Scope & Content Two boxes of archival and research material relating to cemeteries. Box A14.1 includes:
- One folder of photographs
- Two folders of miscellaneous notes and newsclippings.
- One folder of documents signed by the Little Compton Town Clerk relating to cemetery plots and perpetual care trusts. Also in this folder is a document relating to the Little Compton Hearse Association.
- One folder with news clippings and a typed report on the Old Burying Ground.
- Reference materials related to the preservation of historic burial grounds.
- Transcription of a cemetery tour in the Old Burial Ground by John Sterling and Carlton Brownell, about 2000.
-One folder containing information about a human skull found by a member of the Burchard family in the area of Wilbor Woods. Compact Disc of photographs.
