Title Travel Scrapbooks
Scope & Content Box of four travel scrapbooks.

The first scrapbook has a black leatherbound cover and reads in gold across the front: "Scriptural Album with Floral Illustrations". Many interior pages are blank, however there are handwritten poems and notes scattered throughout the book in different handwritings. Each entry seems to be addressed to "Sarah". There are several pages of printed color illustrations. Dates from the mid 19th c.

The second scrapbook has a dark red leatherbound cover with gold scroll and leaf trim. There are handwritten poems and notes scattered throughout the book in different handwritings. Some entries are addressed to "Caroline". Dates from 1831-1834.

The third scrapbook is black leather with flap cover that reads "My Trip Abroad." The pages are filled with postcards, ticket stubs, clippings and handwritten notes detailing a Trans-Atlantic cruise aboard the S.S. Rotterdam and European destinations. Created by "Francis Low" and dated 1904.

The fourth scrapbook has a snakeskin cover. Lined pages are filled with postcards, ticket stubs, clippings and handwritten notes detailing a Trans-Atlantic cruise aboard the Barbarossa and European destinations. Created by "Francis Low" and dated 1900.
