Object Name Saddle
Description Dark brown leather Civil War horse saddle with metal hardware on the buckles, believed to be a McCellan type saddle. Leather seat of saddle is hand-sewn, and adjustable straps of stirrups are attached along the lower border with metal studs. Wood food holders inside each stirrup. Two metal loops attached at the front and two metal loops attached at the rear of the top of the saddle. Seat of saddle is hollowed out in the middle in an oval shape.
