Description Watercolor on paper. One tall green stem with leaves running the length of the shaft. Stemming from each leaf are unbloomed buds, as well as small purple flowers near the tip of the stem. Artist has identified the wildflower as: "Monkey flower". Watercolor is mounted on white board and is unframed.

Provenance Artist has marked "81" on back indicating a series. This is 81 of 142 watercolors depicting wildflowers in the Little Compton area. Artist has compiled a notebook with details on each of the paintings. These were all donated to the historical society by her daughters.
