Large rectangle shape splint basket made of wood. Basket is woven of wide light brown and thin dark blue strips. Inkwork flowers in a semi-checkered pattern on all sides of basket. Heavier wood is used along the open edge to create a frame for the basket. This open edge has a wrapped design, possibly using reed or sea grass. Has matching lid. |
