Triangular shaped iron with deep hollow body and latched lid. Square L-shaped wood handle attached to lid at one end and large spout on the front of the lid. Pin and latch at one attaching lid to body. Embossed on top of lid: "E. BLISS & / R. DRAKE. / PAT'D / 1852." Dark patina on body of iron and rust on spout and lid. Embossed on side of body at the back is an image of a bearded man. |
