This elaborate piece of art depicts "Santo Christo do Milagres" or Christ of the Miracles. Housed inside a dark brown wooden shadow box, It is constructed of a number of mediums, including lace and paper. It features a 3-dimensional image of Christ at the center standing behind an altar and surrounded by elaborate gold, silver and pink metallic flowers, ribbons and beading. |
