Wooden winnower, painted red. At proper right is a large wood interior fan used to generate a draft. The original crank used to turn the fan is missing. On the opposite side of the machine is a large hand crank used to agitate two interior trays with wire mesh. Only one of these trays still has the mesh. At bottom left is a small drawer with round wooden pull. Has matching lid for top of object. The object was used to separate grain from chaffe. |
