Or certified to?] all person whom/ it may concern that Nathaniel Searl, Junior/ and Lucy Ellis both of Little Compton have been lawfully published in Little Compton by me Robert Taylor Justice of ye peace" Rear has a handwritten transcription. It is also stamped with "PROPERTY OF LITTLE/COMPTON HIST. SOC. INC." Handwritten in upper right, "CHAS. RUSSELL PECK", crossed out. Center, a label with a heraldic crest, "J.F.
