Large rectangle shape splint lid to basket. Top of lid has wide brown strips with rows of blue inkwork flowers. Sides of lid have thing woven strips alternating dark blue and light brown. Heavier wood is used along the open edge to create a frame for the basket. This open edge has a wrapped design, possibly using reed or sea grass. |
